Congratulations to the 2020-B MolSSI Investment Software Fellows!

May 20, 2020 2506 views

After reviewing over 50 impressive applications, the MolSSI is pleased to announce that the Science and Software Advisory Board has chosen the recipients of the 2020-B Investment Software Fellowships! They are:

  • Samragni Banerjee, The Ohio State University (a 2020 Seed Fellow)
  • Madison Berger, University of North Texas
  • Victor H. Chavez, Purdue University (a 2020 Seed Fellow)
  • Igor Gayday, Marquette University
  • James R. Gayvert, Boston University (a 2020 Seed Fellow)
  • Xuecheng Shao, Rutgers University – Newark
  • Bryce Westheimer, Iowa State University
  • Yuan Yao, Cornell University (a 2020 Seed Fellow)

This 18-month Fellowship supports software development efforts that will have a broader impact on the community. Fellows receive longer-term collaboration with the MolSSI scientists, who have a broad range of domain knowledge, applied mathematics, HPC and computer science backgrounds.

With many exceptional applicants, this was not an easy choice. We are confident that our winners will use this opportunity to excel in their research areas, and grow as researchers & scientists in their individual fields.

Congratulations to all our new and returning fellows; we’re incredibly excited to have you on board!
